Love Mud Island. Great choice of plants, flowers, gifts, garden tools etc all in a super relaxing setting. It’s very much a worthwhile experience.

Spent the day visiting local nurseries and garden centres. This was by far the best. Great range, fantastic prices, came away with several plants. Will definitely be visiting again.

Very very well cared for plants and such reasonable prices. Cute little indoor section too, highly recommended! Also really lovely staff who were so friendly and kind to my 3 year old. I didn’t catch the name of the young man in the hat who told us a story about baby spiders but he is an absolute credit to the company and made a real impression. Will visit again!
Delightful place to visit I buy all my bedding plants here and am never disappointed They always produce a wonderful display.

First visit today , we are fairly local and didn’t know this garden centre was here! have already recommended to my mum and dad, bought 2 trees and had help from a member if staff, will be back! Lovely place to visit especially on a sunny day! X
My favourite garden centre! Great staff that are always happy and ready to engage with you and help. The setting is beautiful and all the shrubs, plants etc. are stunning and healthy.
Had plants I had rarely seen at garden centres and an amazing place to relax and enjoy nature.
Went to Mud Island garden centre as we were passing (on a motorbike) and bought a succulent – fine for the journey home. Knew we needed to come back as wanted an acer which wouldn’t have fared very well on the bike…Came back today as had more time (and a better equipped vehicle) and noticed how well kept all the plants are – well watered and looking good. Bought the acer….and another acer…..and a tree! Had excellent customer service from one of their team. He helped us load the tree on a trolley, gave good advice how to look after it, pushed the trolley to the checkout and helped us into the car with it. Will definitely be back – this will be our ‘go to’ garden centre from now on.

Beautiful Christmas decoration section. Great gifts, ornaments, crystal sun catchers, cards & more. Great plant & Christmas tree selection as well. Our 1st visit of many more to come.
My first time at Mud Island yesterday and was impressed with the standard of the plants and overall prices , the staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable, its how a well run garden centre should be , looking forward to visiting again soon.
I love buying quality plants here. Staff are friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable. The Christmas selection gets better every year.

Visited my son in Knowle and decided to pop in here on the way home. What a lovely Garden Centre. Clean, spacious and well laid out. We purchased a few plants which looked marvellous. We visit many a branded Garden centre and these plants were better and cheaper. We will certainly return soon.
My 1st visit, lovely garden centre, lots of varied plants and bedding plants, lots of gift ideas in the shop as well, very kind and helpful staff will definitely be returning.
This is our favourite place to go to buy plants! They are all very well priced and the staff are always so lovely and helpful. Even when we asked about turf they don’t sell but gave us so much advice and the best places to buy from in the future. Always a pleasant experience when we come.
As you drive up, nursery is very idyllic. It is very clean and well presented inside with a lot more than just plants to buy. The plants themselves are well cared for and prices are very reasonable. Staff very friendly and offer exceptional customer service. Will definitely be going back.
Well stocked garden centre that sells trees, shrubs, bedding, etc ranging from the usual to the unusual. Very informative and helpful staffs that care for their customers and the products that they sell. Ample parking, easy to find, well sign-posted on approach roads.
Bought honeysuckle, sedum, salvia, thyme, to name a few! Also bought a bistro table & x2 chairs. Very lovely garden centre plants always look healthy well watered.
1st time visited, good quality plants on offer, nicely presented, not just crammed as much on to a table as possible like others (usually this causes plants to look crushed with a lot of die back). Staff friendly and knowledgeable.
I have been going to Mud Island for many years now, and always good service. Michael has always helped me such a nice mannered man, nothing too much trouble. Very good selection of plants.
